Wintergreen Homes Community, LLC, specializes in the development and construction of multi-family housing in the Mountain Resort Areas of Colorado. Creating “affordable” housing has been a challenge in resort communities for many years. Wintergreen Homes is proud to have developed projects that provide opportunities for first-time buyers to own quality homes. The company also has worked closely with municipalities to build rental units in public-private partnerships.
Wintergreen Homes has also been active in land acquisition and
development. All sites have been acquired as raw land. Each has
been taken through the appropriate entitlement process and then
the necessary infrastructure designed and constructed. Several
sites have been developed as lots and sold to other developers,
including national homebuilders.

All projects are extensively researched to be sure that they

amenities and price range. Wintergreen Homes strives to
work within each community’s standards and desires to

provide good value to its residents. Managers of Wintergreen Homes are Jeffery M. Spanel,
P.E. and Arthur Kleinstein, Chartered Accountant. Their combined expertise enables the company to explore investment opportunities with positive results.
Jeffery Spanel graduated from Iowa State University with
a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering. He
is a principal in Inter-Mountain Engineering, a consulting
engineering fi rm founded in 1978. Inter-Mountain
Engineering provides a wide range of services to Eagle
County’s construction industry including land planning,
land surveying, civil engineering services such as utility,
roadway and drainage design, and construction management.
Mr. Spanel’s specifi c experience includes both design and
coordination of engineering studies, preparation of
construction contract documents, construction contract
negotiations, supervision of field inspection teams, and the
construction contract administration.
Arthur Kleinstein graduated from the University of Toronto
with a bachelor of sciences degree in 1968 and then went on
to achieve his designation as a Chartered Accountant in 1971.
His career began with his involvement in his family’s real
estate development and construction business. He
subsequently formed a new development and construction
operation of his own which acquired residential and
commercial sites. His expertise is in acquisition, site specific
design and development, fi nancing and marketing, both
directly and through syndication, of these projects as well
as the leasing of commercial projects.
Edie Glazer graduated from York University in 1970 and began to
work in the Real Estate Industry. In her own business venture she
started to develop land in Toronto, Canada in 1972.
She successfully completed her Real Estate Licence in 1980.
Her business expanded to the United States in early 1980 when
the company, now Wintergreen Homes began development and
construction in Texas and Arizona. Together with Art Kleinstein,
she helped form a joint venture with Jeff Spanel of Inter-Mountain
Enginneering of Avon, Coloradoin early 1990's and began extensive
land development and construction in Colorado.
Hugh Davidson graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1995
with a B.A. and a certification(s) in Urban Planning and Real
Estate Development. His career began in the Real Estate and
InformationTechnology industries and successfully worked several
ventures to merge those two markets with both small start up
companies and national outsourced IT firms. He has held various
management positions in those capacities and is now a manager
with Wintergreen Homes out of Denver, Colorado. After moving
to Denver in 2007, Mr. Davidson is involved in the land-use
planning, financing and marketing activities associated with all
new multi-family residential developments with a specific focus
in the ski resort towns throughout the State of Colorado. When
not working, Mr. Davidson spends his free time with his wife
and 2 children, 8 & 6, and loves turning it up with the family
on the slopes of Vail Mountain.
Romi Wallach graduated from the University of Western
Ontario in 1996 with honors and began working in the Real Estate
Industry immediately thereafter. She further expanded her
education by gaining her Real Estate License in Ontario, Canada
in 1999. She has been involved with Wintergreen Homes since 1997
and, as part of the Wintergreen management team, has been
particularly involved in the advertising, sales and marketing
strategies for all of the company’s real estate development projects.
In addition, Romi is also active in all accounting and financial tasks
associated with each project.
